John, my sincere apologies. I have since learnt you are who you say you are. I have to confess i did think this may be a hoax, but please try to see it from my point of view. You are, like it or not, what could be considered a bit of a celebrity within the UFO world, although on the whole you have remained quite a private person. Whatever field of interest one might have, you generally don't expect to actually get the chance to speak to, or even meet, a famous individual (which you undeniably are) connected to your particular interest. As with anything over the internet though you are going to meet your share of weirdos and hoaxers. Therefore if i can't actually see someone face to face, i'm not going to be so gullible as to take everything at face value, and if someone tells me they are 'John Burroughs' i'm not going to believe them until i am sure. Like i said, i now know who you are, and i hope you can accept my apology. I feel honoured to have made your acquaintance.

And regarding writing statements post traumatic incident, trust me, i've been there, and i know what it is like. The true facts are there as you remember them, but due to the stress involved, they can, (and do), get jumbled in sequence and therefore can appear incongruous. Like i said, i speak from personal experience. And i too am not a liar. I have watched John Burroughs and Jim Penniston in documentaries, and as an experienced Psychiatric nurse (from a body language point of view), i have never felt they were fabricating or being dishonest. If you ever do decide to return to the UK, you would be very welcomed, and it would be a great experience for many of us.

As far as the under ground storage area that was Warren story and I just want to make sure there is nothing there. Penniston and the rest of them stated they were taken to the OSI office I have heard of rumors there was a under ground complex plus I was showen entrances that led to tunnels that I was told went to a area underground. One of them was in the weapons storage at Woodbridge. What happened is still a mystery but I know almost for sure it was some kind of weapons mind control test. As far as the US government not willing to do it they tested nuclear blast in Nevada on there own troops and told them there would be no problems. As far as Steve Roberts goes I know who he is and why he did it. Ask Dot street to give you the name if not have her contact me and will take it from there. And take a look to see if there is a tunnel that runs from the WSA to the NSMA at Bentwaters...

We seem to be going round in circles with the underground base stories. I've stated in a number of previous posts on several threads on this forum, our (Bentwaters Cold War Museum) findings at both Bentwaters and Woodbridge. We have found no secret underground bases and the only tunnels to be found are associated with runway drainage. You are more than welcome to come and look for yourself when you visit the UK. Chuck Holt doesn't believe there is an underground base. I received an email from him (via the owners of Bentwaters) asking the same question.
As far as I can make out it's only Larry Warren that has mentioned the existance of such an underground complex?

I beleive admin looked at your email address and traced it back to make sure it wasnt coming from somewhere that didnt appear to be you ( eg china, far east) Other than this I dont think we have any other verification methods---- we're not the CIA!
As you can see we are a serious group of incident researchers trying to get to the bottom of the event and we do try and protect ourselves from false postings, as we have had idiots try and post before causing problems.
But if you are concerned PM admin and they can tell you more.
So far your help has been fantastic!
I sense you would like to know what really happened as well in amongst all the confusion.
