Hi everyone! Finally I managed to get in here. I`ve been interested in the R. F. I for the last 25 years. I`ve read and seen just about everything there is to be read or seen on the subject. That doesn`t mean I know everything about the case, it just means I know pretty much everything that`s been made public about the case.
I`m Irish, I`ve lived in Dublin`s inner city area all my life, where I grew up to become a pretty street-smart sort of person. I studied Film and Television in college.
Over the years, and through all the research, I`ve come to believe, that what the witnesses have said happened, did indeed happen. I`ve studied this case hard, I`ve studied the witnesses hard, how they come across, what they have said, and when they have said it. I believe the witnesses, when they claim, that what they came into contact with, in the Rendlesham Forest, was not man made, or at least, it was not from our here and now.
Despite what some might say, nothing but logic and reason have led me to the conclusions I`ve come too. The debunkers greatest conceit is that they consider themselves societies self appointed guardians of logic and reason, and that those with an open mind, are incapable of the same.
The R.F.I is a compelling and complex case, its fascinating to me, because of its depth, and the human element to the story. In fact, to me, the human element is the most insightful aspect of this case. Having heard, and seen, all the other evidence, It is the one aspect of this entire story, that eventually convinced me that; something of great significance took place in the Rendlesham Forest back in December, 1980. As Larry Warren would say, "If you take me out of the case, you`ve still got a case", well, in a way, if you take the phenomenon out of the case, you`ve still got a case. I say this because, even without the phenomenon, you`ve still got a story that serves as a testament, to the lengths people in power are willing to go, in order to keep a secret.
Id just like to highlight the fact, that the main purpose of my presence on this forum, is first and foremost; to show my undying support for the witnesses involved, towards whom, I hold the greatest respect, and who I regard as heroes, followed secondly; by my desire to discuss this case in an intelligent, and hopefully insightful manner. In future posts I intend to illustrate just why these two points, are vitally important, if people on this forum really do wish to contribute in some way to seeing this mystery resolved.
The only way this incident will ever be truly resolved, is if the witnesses decide to put aside their differences, and band together for the greater good, in order to pursue the case through official channels.
Well, I don`t claim to know it all, but I know enough, to duke it out on the details, with the very best of them, and I look forward to the future, with optimism, and in the hope, that somehow, in some small way, some of us, might be able to contribute, just a little bit, towards some sort of resolution to the R.F.I.
