Yes...

From Linda Moulton Howe's article, we can see that there are just over four pages. The article states that more pages exist, but Jim is withholding them.
Another analysis of the pages (scans included in above article) reveals a different message, possibly including "666" and some different coordinates pointing to somewhere in Woodbridge, or as someone else discovered, Warwickshire.

Thanks, Isaac. I saw the confusion about the exact number of pages, and your questions on the Bentwaters1980 forum that were not answered by Jim ('go read the Eartfiles pages').

This is getting worse by the minute.

But in times of trouble, just remember these words by Jim Penniston on that same forum:
"Remember the truth is only a classified file away. Or maybe it is much more precise to say, one notebook page away..."

That one really killed me ..

Well, at least I learned a lot from the latest conference ...

I know this topic is getting a little silly, but I thank Jim for sharing the scanned images with Earthfiles. Looking on Page 1 where it's annotated "011011 three times '333' or '666'", this could be 0x1b which is the escape command, which can be used to change terminal console settings such as the color, move a cursor, reassign keys and more. The escape characters may have been used in conjuction with the "8100" after it.

I'm rather 50/50 on this message. I think there is more, as in possible terminal functions.

The message in my opinion, and probably many others, seem a little Sci-fi cliché. But I feel this sort of information transfer may be possible sometime in the way future, and so I feel there is always a possibility that Jim's data is authentic.

Me too. It's one new Sci Fi fad after another. Here's the one Jim probably watched before coming up with this latest half arsed attempt at avoiding the real issue..

I would be inclined to totally disregard the binary numbers evidence.
If this was a court of law you would not simply be allowed to suddenly produce documentary evidence which you had prior knowledge of so long after the event. This would apply to both defendent and prosecution or plaintiff and appelant in civil cases.
In any event the late production of meaningless numbers does not advance our understanding of the event at all, rather just another path to go down to another blind end

What hacks me off, big time, is the way the civilians who attended the conference, the local witnesses who had some very interesting testimony, were treated as if what they had to say was totally irrelevant. There is always lots of talk about 'respect' for the witnesses combined with a willingness by some to believe virtually everything they say without question but quite frankly it is my personal opinion that right from the start we have been led on a wild goose chase. A snippet of 'evidence' here, a snippet there but always with the claim of there being more to tell and the promise that all will be revealed tomorrow. But of course, tomorrow never comes.

One only has to review the posts elsewhere on this forum to realise that as soon as a sensible theory is proposed it is immediately pushed aside and some other diversion is thrown up instead. This latest nonsense about binary codes serves only to highlight that fact. Sure, the witnesses (and I draw a very clear distinction between what is alleged to have been seen on night one and what was alleged to have been seen on subsequent nights) might have seen something but whatever that was has been blown out of all proportion. In my view this latest claim has completely destroyed any credibility the night one witnesses might previously have had. Therefore and as far as serious research goes, it is my personal view that their testimony is worthless and is best ignored. In fact, I'd go as far as to say Kevin Conde's explanation is a better bet. After all the colours of the lights are right and if he'd backed his car onto a logging road with headlights facing east gate an observer would see almost exactly what JB first described in the opening part of his original statement. Perhaps what happened was something like this:

A cop duo are on patrol and decide to take a break. They park up off road, in an area they know to be deserted (apparently east gate was not always guarded at night - Burroughs and Buran happened to be there almost by accident). They leave the lights on, the motor running and keep the beacons on. That way if someone should come along they can claim they are looking for something. By sheer bad luck the vehicle lights are seen by Burroughs and Buran. They call it in and are given permission to go off base to take a look. Whoever is in the car sees a vehicle coming down the east gate service road so they back up further into the forest, waiting for a chance to drive off. Burroughs and Buran return to east gate and Penniston and Cabansag arrive. The lights are confirmed to CSC so Penniston, Burroughs and Cabansag go off base to investigate. Meanwhile whoever is in the car now realises they've got a problem so kill the lights and hope they are not spotted. Pennistion, Burroughs and Cabansag arrive in the forest, find the car and realise the occupants are colleagues. They can't call it in because if they do, they'll drop a couple of mates in the crap. They now have a dilemma.... they can't drop mates in it but neither can they say the lights were nothing because that would make them, particularly Penniston as the officer in charge, look stupid so they make up a silly story to cover their backsides....... but the story comes back to haunt them.

Exactly - and despite the applause what he had to say was brushed aside. The guy was ex RAF and stated he was on duty in the radar ops room at Neatishead (which incidentally was responsible for controlling US fighters - from the RAF Neatishead page at: http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafneatishead/aboutus/history.cfm 1974 - Present day - Neatishead has also provided control for United Kingdom based American fighter aircraft. ) and confirmed that the radar cameras were never turned off. He also mentioned a visit from MoD where the logs and films for the 26th/27th were collected. He might as well said he was out walking a dog - not one of the witnesses, nor Peter Robbins, nor Linda Moulton Howe or Nick Pope were the slightest bit interested in what he had to say.

I honestly wish someone was able to upload a full, audio at least, recording of the event. I would have loved to have heard everything. I noticed in one of the videos that someone had a voice recorder, but I haven't seen anything uploaded. I wished this was all done in the summer so I could have gone.

It would have been nice to hear other witness stories. The reason why I archived the 'BBC Radio Suffolk - Rendlesham Revealed' audio was due to statements I haven't heard before. I would love for them to pop on here and write their story, without anyone near them possibly influencing their information or cutting/editing it.

I honestly feel Kevin Konde's story was used as an excuse by the USAF after some sericemen started to ask questions about the incident later on in 1992. Just wish those servicemen would say something. I only came across a snippet after being called a liar about the RFI when I was in school.

Most sensible conclusion for the ufo believers now is that Jim Penniston is actually part of the disinformation brigade.. Deliberately making a mockery of the case to help the cover-up.

Yeah, I'm waiting for that one to come up.

ST, I didn't know "the torch" also had a blue filter..interesting.

One only has to review the posts elsewhere on this forum to realise that as soon as a sensible theory is proposed it is immediately pushed aside and some other diversion is thrown up instead.

Good point, though to be fair we on the forum have often gone off on a tagent. I had a flick through some older posts earlier today. One in particular from Admin, was this quoting from Skycrash and Brenda Butlers early encounter with James Archer aka Jim Peniston. It makes for interesting reading. I'll resist the urge to cut and paste the most obvious inconsistency.
http://rendlesham-incident.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=779

The other point you make PP, about some of the local witnesses and researchers not being given time, well what about Brenda Butler? Now all Yeti gags aside and despite her beliefs, Brenda knows a lot more about this story than anybody on that panel, yet was given short change when she put her questions forward. Maybe the extract I've linked to above above might go someway to explain that?

That something did happen is a given - even what the ignored civvy witnesses said lends credence to that - but the answer is not going to be found by trying to make sense of what the 'witnesses' claim to have seen. Penniston has probably shot himself in the foot because even the most sensation hungry media hound is not going to go that far out on a limb. Even the most gullible of believers is unlikely to buy that one. No matter what, the bottom line is the media's interest is tied to increased ratings/sales volumes because that grows advertising revenues and income is all that really matters. Start treating the audience and/or readers like idiots by broadcasting / publishing total tosh and ratings / sales will fall......

Hi Daniel, All,

In response to a thread I started on Jim Penniston's forum and raised with Jim by another method, a moderator has now responded in an attempt to "clarify some of your concerns"

That response includes an indication that a full recording of the seminar should be made available shortly.

The response also stated:

At the conference Jim stated that he was going to have the paper and ink tested which would indicate that at that time it had not been done. They know that this has to be done to silence sceptics which chose not to attend the seminar on the 28th when they could of challenged the eye witnesses face to face.
Jim mentioned there were 12 pages of binary code and they may be made public at some time but the reason for not making them public has nothing to do with financial gain or t.v shows book deals or the like, you will just have to trust me on this one and accept their decision not to publicise them at this time.some of the codes require further scrutiny.

Dave Clarke looked into the radar aspects some years ago. Best thing I can do is to refer you this summary of his findings here:

with a briefer summary under the heading Radar and Radiation here
