Hi all,
I just wanted to introduce myself and point out how impressed I am with the intelligent theorising and debating that's been taking place in this forum. Like others on this site have mentioned, I'm a firm believer in the fact that the truth regarding this incident will eventually come to the surface (although this may be after after a lot of time and hard-work, perhaps not even in my lifetime?!).
I'm not a military man (my background is actually in Psychology and now, IT) but I've been interested in the subject of UFOs and in particular, the Rendlesham Forest Incident, for most of my adult life. I'm really excited about the prospect of joining in with some of the discussions on this forum, especially as there are some first-hand witnesses involved (I have ultimate respect for all those witnesses who have the had the courage to come forward and talk openly about their experiences). I'll set out my stall from the beginning and just say that I'm of the opinion that a tiny percentage of UFO sightings/incidents (including the Rendlesham Forest Incident) DO involve advanced technology of 'unkown origin' (unknown to myself and 'Joe Average' that is, put perhaps not unknown to certain governments/government agencies?). Why do I think this? I don't know for sure!? It's just a 'gut-feeling' really? However, I am also very open to 'earthly' explanations for UFO incidents and indeed, I feel that this avenue should be explored thoroughly before other conclusions are drawn. I will gladly explore all of your theories with an open mind!
Anyway, I will sign off now before this posting becomes a mini essay! When I get some spare time one day in the near future, I want to start up a discussion about the psychology of 'cover-ups' and how this applies to the RFI. I feel that this could raise some interesting points regarding the true nature of the incident.
All the best,
Vortex.
