Important announcement regarding website's future

Postby Admin » Sat Jan 10, 2009 11:53 pm

Hello everyone,

I wasn’t certain how to begin this post, but here are the facts. I have been running this website for almost four years now, and I need a break. The UFO subject is certainly fascinating, but at the same time mentally taxing. Furthermore, I simply don’t have the time to maintain the website.

Secondly, I think it’s time to stop searching for something which may have never been there in the first place. The truth is there is no ‘right’ answer, no ‘correct’ explanation – we simply don’t know. The Rendlesham forest incident will most likely never be solved; and I’m sure that some people would rather it remained that way.

Thank you to all our forum members and contributors for your time and effort. I am grateful to have had correspondence with so many pleasant and interesting people.

I plan to downsize the main website, leaving only necessary information, such as pictures, documents and audio recordings. My comments - unless absolutely necessary - will be removed. There’s no way I will let a wealth of information go to waste, or force members apart, therefore the forum will continue to run, but in a reduced state.

Having just paid for another year’s hosting, I will allow the website to remain online until 1st January 2010. What happens thereafter, I don’t know.

Happy New Year.

Thank you very much for all your hard work over the last 4 years, it has been very much appreciated.
I fully understand the work loads you have experienced and that must have been very taxing.

You are probably right about the RFI and i have recently come to the same conclusion that Jenny Randles did that nothing of significance happened at Rendlesham.

All the best and happy New Year

Hi Admin,

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for giving us the oppertunity to discuss the RFI and try to come up with an answer,I for one think nothing happened at Rendlesham all thoses years ago and until there is more proof will always think this, all we are going on is what people claim which is vague and doesent correspond there is actually nothing to go on at all but hearsay.I think a big pat on the back to all who gave up there valuable time to try and solve the puzzle,if the site does close we have got a wealth of information that was produced here should it be needed in the future.

Hi Admin,

I would like to say a very big thank you for your work in establishing and building this site and understand only too well how this subject can become very time consuming. I do agree that there is probably little to be gained in constantly revisiting the same set of small details, but at the same time I do think that what has already been discussed on the boards has some value, so hope that some of this can be saved.

Again many thanks for all your efforts and all the best for the New Year.

So sorry to hear that you are winding down the forum,
I can appreciate how much work, cost and effort it must demand. I must say, it has been simply the best forum I have ever seen - it is the only one I have ever joined - or considered joining.

Whereas nearly all other forums seem to be the domain of back sniping, uninformed ego-centric misfits ... this has been a breath of fresh air ... intelligent, well informed members of grace and charm.

Whether anyone ever bottoms the RFI or not, it is hard to say - each year takes us further from the original evidence, but no one can say this forum hasn't tried.

Well done Sir, been a pleasure to be onboard,
best wishes, Win.

Admin,
Good of ya!
I too echo my admiration for your generocity, finnancial support, and max effort you put into this site. I too agree that I enjoy the mature collaboration of contributors that seem to gravitate to this class act of a WEBSITE.
I also feel that someone is evading the truth here about the facts, I know it happened, something went down, I saw the crowd that night, but what really happened we may never Know. I think we are closing in on it though.
We just need a little more time!

I suggest that the aledged lost side arm was lost by the Female Lt. shift leader. I can't get confirmation on it.
I also suggest that there was aledgedly some hanky panky going on in the woods and it got out of control.
Finally, aledgedly someone got fired and several people got demoted for their actions, Actions not becoming of S.P.'s
A cover up of this event was put into action and several loose cannons got out of control. I'll need help with my querry.
Any S.P's want to be a deep throat? P.M. me! I won't ask who!

Hi BTDT,

I also heard that it was alledged that SP's regulary partied in the woods mainly to "have a smoke", Is it possible that the firearm was dropped during one of these get togethers? something happened in the woods that caused concern but a UFO,I dont think so.......,Have you looked at the twin bases website there is some intersting stuff on there for ex Bentwaters USAF guys. Here's a link http://twinbases.org.uk/

I can understand you taking time out from this brilliant website, the best of its kind ive seen but hope it continues in some form after next Jan,its great that the forum will continue in some form.
There has been some fascinating information put forward by all the witnesses both military and civilian. As for people thinking nothing happened as per Jenny etc and people on the forum they would do well to go back to the witness testimony and read there statements of what they actually witnessed, they were there we were not and what they saw profoundly affected them to this day.Try telling Jim Penniston,Charles Halt or John Burroughs that not much happened to their faces and see what response you get.
We know Jim saw and drew a craft that could accelerate at astonishing speed silently with strange markings and that an object weighing several tons landed on the forest floor and took off again,we know that unknown high speed craft were seen over a very sensative nuclear base(s) and that these craft fired down pencil thin beams of light over the base some of which penetrated the weapons storage area and "adversley affected" some of the warheads. We know this because the people who were there at the time saw it happen and of course there was much more to it than just those established facts, not withstanding some witnesses saw lifeforms of some description associated with the craft.
But nothing much happened................................................................
