And for that I am sorry. I do hope that I have not hurt your search for Justice John (Silvertop), I do hope that I have not wasted your time Xen, and John B, I think you need to learn to shut your mouth you big daft oaf. I will of course place this at the beginning of this thread instead of the transcript. I suggest those that are able pass word to those on facebook. I am not on that site nor want to be. Well I trust this settles things down and things can get back to normal. I will of course limit any input into this site as I am afraid it appears that I just unsettle the boat too much. Cheers for your interesting addition to your previous Transcript. I've been looking at the tape for a while and only just recently started looking into the alternative sounds from the room where the audio was dubbed onto another tape. I only picked up on a few things which sounds like glasses hitting a table top and being moved. This gave me an impression that there was possibly more than one person in the room. The area around my computer is noisy, which made me pause until I could improve on the environment. Looking forward into seeing if I can pick up on this audio.

Also when looking at the type of breaks in the tape, it appeared that two different players were being used. One probably from Halt's recorder and the other from the dubbing recorder.

As everybody wakes up in the UK and I'm about to crash for the night does anybody else hear any of this on the tape? Storm I think your trying to hard to hear somthing thats not there if its true then we have somthing but again does anybody else pick any of this up?

John with regard to hearing stuff the easiest one to find is the one Stephen mentions. Is it going to be a nice day out today.

For a start the answer is no not I think so. Secondly if this is an over recording why can we still hear halts breathing and other noises. Also easy to find is Nevilles saying we were getting this and more. And one of the really easy ones to find is we still gotta go up to the starfish jim.

Remember when i started listening I did not know it was there either. It took me 10 hours a day solid and two weeks to even hear the little I did find. There is more but I cannot get it out. It would need a sound engineer.

Oh if you get to the bit where it says diffinately gonna need more lashes. That's hard. At first you will get nothing because Halt is talking and it sounds like his voice distorts. Isolate just that bit. Listen and imagine your trying to hear past halt to someone across the room. After a bit you will hear a very clear your deffinately gonna need another suit. I assumed because nevilles has peed. Now this is almost there but on the halt tape playing in the background you have ball saying two two lights. This overlays on the lashes. So you get two then the end of lashes - tswoites. Listen for longer and eventually your brain sepparates the two voices. But the first part of the sentence is easy to hear.

Also the context of what is said is important. Unless there is a tape break in between if the context does not sound right it probably is not. For instance Halts "The centre of the thing was" is out of context. Its also a little distorted. And his tone of voice is wrong for the rest of the sentence. Its tone is as a question. Like the tone of voice if you say "are you ok?". Listen to that bit again and again and it does not say that. It clearly says "lets say the right thing Willis". I thought at first it was "say the right thing Nevilles" which would make more sense. But I could not accept things that easily.

Some are far away some are distorted and some are really loud but because Halt is speaking very loudly into the mike your brain locks onto that.

So now John its time to put you on the spot as well. Publicly as you have not replied when asked in private. Who was Lairikin. In the tape the coms officer talking to Bustinza asks for permission for you and what I thought was Aitkin to go out there. Permission is refused but who was Lairikin. An answer would be nice John.

Not asked in private - Who was Willis. Who was Peters. I assume Nevilles knew him from his tone when asking him where he was going. So that implies you probably knew him as well especially since you have been working this case for years.

At first when I started this the sentence at the beginning I thought said "eastborne". Now I had no idea what that might mean, and Silvertop hears "You recording?" which does make more sense - but Eastborne had a radar station which would have been able to cover that area as Its a bit further along the coast. So I assumed the context of the asker was asking if Eastborne had reported anything or had been contacted.

Where on the base was the starfish. Woodbridge had one. The Starfish was a nickname for a radar pole layout because it resembled a starfish. Now I thought it said Starship at first, but I had to make sure. And no, Its starfish. However Project starfish was set up during World War Two. It was the name given to an area on a nuclear deterrent base. There were several around the country that had a "Starfish site". These areas were to be set alight during a time of air attack in order to confuse enemy bombers. RAF Woodbridge had a Starfish Site. Where was it on the base and what was its significance in this. I am sure you would not know fully, but as a security officer you would indeed be aware of its significance, and its location. The confusing bit is that I did not know that we had a nuclear deterrent during WW2 - only after, when the Nazis were defeated did we divide up the intellectual spoils - America grabbing quite a few scientist which of course went on to form the Manhatten Project.

For others, when you hear the "untie me" - this does not sound like Nevilles to be honest. It does sound like Jim Penniston. But because I only hear this voice once I cannot be sure at all.

Oh and as a side note I realise how this whole thing is controversial. I am also aware of the danger of it. For 25 and more years this version has been out there and no one admitted to, or finding it before. It is hard but be aware that whoever distorted the voices was as we have been, listening for the details of what was to be hidden. Halts team talks in the woods would have been the most important. Also, there is one voice which has been so distorted its almost impossible to hear. This male, seems to be in charge.

And for the conspiracy theorists out there, when I first posted the May transcript, after a few edits I had a whole day where I could not access this site. Only in the evening could I get back on. The same happened when I posted the Radiation readings report. When I found this stuff two weeks ago, I contacted SilverTop, and said what I thought I may have found. In a PM. Two days after that I lost my internet for two days. After which it returned for no reason. BT are unsure as to why. I got on through my phone instead. As we speak there is a blacked out van parked outside with "on call" in the window written on a scrap of paper and parked on double yellows. Yesterday afternoon a man approached me outside the building where I work as I had a smoke. He talked about the weather, and asked what I did. We chatted about nothing in particular other than the world we live in and then he said "still there is all sorts going on in the world isnt there", "yes I replied ". "I mean what do you think about all the UFO stuff thats coming out now" - he asked.

All, I am honestly sure, totally coincidental (and I am honest about that not just being ironic). But this mistake, this version of the tape, is that important John. I would ask anyone who would, download a copy. So its never lost again.

just to throw something in. When I was listening to the recording I thought to myself perhaps someone (maybe Halt plus others) were in the room or in the adjoining room where he/ they made the copy. Back in the late 80s and 90s I often made copies of MCs by recording the original with another tape recorder always being annoyed about the 20% of quality loss and the ambient sounds. I used to get out of the room and close the windows before I started the recordings but often voices and noises could be heard on the copy.

I don't know exactly what the people in the background say - my first language is German, so that makes it even a bit more difficult - but at least I was able to confirm that there were indeed other ''unknown'' voices. Like Storm I also had the impression that some sounds come from inside a room (maybe the recording room). I wonder if C. Halt could lift the veil a bit here ...

Storm, perhaps you could cut parts (perhaps the ones where you are quite sure) of your edited and enhanced audio and upload them. This way others could give their views and interpretations. This may also help you to either confirm or re-examine your findings.

Just to clear this up - its my opinion that because of the way these guys were messed with ( the cognitive memory messing that is), that it was necessary to have the actual tape playing in the background. Because they had memories of the events which under the influence of drugs and hypnosis would in effect place them back at the event. Now then pain was applied and new instructions given. This is then locked into their memories. AGAIN HERE I SAY LOUD AND CLEAR that this no longer means that their memories now are effected with regard to the events. For this technique to work the matter must not be talked about in any depth again. For a long time. Months. If you start to talk about it even in your own head, the memories start to resurface properly. These guys having to talk over the events in the press for years would have eroded the memory messing stuff almost totally. What may have slipped through is things like me now finding the starfish thing. I have not seen that mentioned anywhere. So this is new. This may draw a blank with John as he may not have had cause to remember it since the event. It may with most of them. But the odd one will be less susceptible and the mere mention of it will bring it flooding back. So if I am right about the technique used here, the less remembered memories of the event will still be forgotten or buried. I think this is where they get accused of changing their story over the years. They remember it one way, then someone finds something, then it drops back into their memory like it was never missing. They dont see their has been a change but we do. So I assume how it was done was the Halt tape playing on one tape player, and next to it was the recorder recording anything that may be said by those interrogated. Remember some of this is whispered - so they are aware they are being recorded. Some speak openly. Then the voices move further away at times too, and yet you can clearly hear dripping water like a tap running. So I my conclusion is that the Halt tape is playing and a recorder next to it. You can hear jets if you remove all the speech. So its on or very near the base. The car arriving and Nevilles: the more cavalry's here. is slurred but implies more people arriving as even Nevilles hears it. So I would say that at least 5 people were present, at the very least. The African - the way he pronounces God is african, who was this. I have a feeling he was the Dr. I dont know why. But if there was a black Dr on the base he would be remembered. So i mean there is lots to work out. There is a documentary, for the life of me I could not find it, but Halt is outside and he is saying about Nevilles (think its the one where he returns to Rendlesham with Penniston for the first time and they discover they have different landing sites): "we have been looking for this guy for 25 year" and in that documentary I am sure Halt says about someone and I think Nevilles "he went missing for 3 days and he came back with a busted up eye, he got it in a bar fight in the town so he says" or something like that. Which if it was Nevilles he was referring to, this is covered on my transcript. So there is lots and lots to find out.

Audacity is perfect for that: simply use the 'export to MP3' or 'export to WAV' function in the File Menu. Besides VirtualDub Audacity is the best freeware tool I know of for media.

How funny or sad I had no idea you could do that. And where do I put it once saved. I have a really good example of the sort of thing thats been missed. Where can I upload it to. U tube? I'll try U tube but quality gets lost there.

Understand that there s a tape break, so the "away your career is cut off at the front. Also as the career bit finishes you have Nevilles saying Colonel. And then a quick Yeah from Halt, followed by Kid was wiggin out on us. Listen to the halt tape in full context and you almost miss it. You wont now though. However is does sound like "away your career Gill/Jim/ something cant quite make it out.

Edit: Just to avoid any confusion - this is exactly how it appears on the tape. No editing has been done and no function used through any sound software - no speeding up or tempo change nothing. Its completely as it appears on the tape.

This is quite interesting. I can't pick up all that storm has written, but I'm hearing some stuff. Where Storm wrote:

I possibly hear:

"Get ready to feel this"

Before Col Halt says "Yes, you're staying . . . you're stay staying steady up around two to three to four units now."

I possibly hear:

"Is he alright man" (5m25.365s to 5m26.155s on the audio file from crowded skies)

Adobe Audition 3 has some nifty plugins for cleaning up the audio a bit. The Multiband Compressor was quite interesting to use. Shame the software is pricey, but the trial version will let me play around a bit.

Was slightly skeptical of the new additions to the transcript, but there is something there.

Not trying to play anything into this what a stupid attitude to take when your apparently trying to uncover the truth. What could I possibly gain, unlike you I am not a guest speaker nor a prominant figure in this. Or is this another game like when you were trying to get Ian to have go at me so I could prove him wrong again. Lmao two hours. I know exactly what your saying. I spent the whole day last week on 10 seconds of tape. Drove me crackers and as it turned out there was nothing there. However you havento bare in mind when i did it I was just wondering what I was hearing. I was not like you lot. I did not have a context. I was just finding what I found. No agenda. Nothing to prove or disprove unlike yourself. So I did not even know where in the transcript I was until I finished the other day. The passage I uploaded is very clear. It happens to be in a context and the words are all clear. Unlike your translation. If I had found what you have I when I was doing it I wrote it off and did not add it to the transcript.


The other major thing is that I seem to be being asked to defend my opinion again lol. I will help you all out there so you don't have to waste your time. It's not my job. Not being rude but it really isn't. The info is there use it or don't. I know quite a bit now that the context of this has come out. I don't want an argument unless there is a blatent lie like the radiation readings. I will help in any way i can but I won't play games. I will answer any question I am able unlike most and I try and make sure of my facts. I don't mind being wrong either so no ego here.

Totally the wrong reaction to this transcript compared to what it should be. John Burroughs own blog asks a direct question from John himself to Colonel Halt. Why is it Sir that your own team were not interrogated and drugged and yet we were. Here is proof that it did ocuur to others as well even John says it backs up what Penniston says and warren and yet - pouring cold water on it. Confronted by me a while ago any self respecting person would explain further and explain their position. This could be - well storm the thing is I know something you don't. So it would only need to be that. But no. Something stinks. Sorry but it does. I already predicted this as well. By doing this I really have kicked the wasp nest. The only option would be to discredit. And that can't even be done bcause the tape is everywhere. The radiation readings are childrens stuff. The specifics about the base are comon knowledge. What was the significance of this starfish could easily be answered I even know the answer. but john cant even answer it. Not a very good light to be shown in.

My first question is how do you know there was a project starfish site on the base. Your right about it being used during WW2 but if you look closer at project starfish it has a whole different light to include the use of lazers and radar's! Also your talking about eastern radar that was the main radar for the area it was Ball who was telling me I could not go out there never heard the name Willis Peters and Larikin but I didnot work on the flight that was on duty the night the tape was made! I know who Atkins is he worked alot inside the WSA as the site supervisor and was also in the tower. I'm not challenging what your saying I don't hear it! And its true when ever this goes towards EM or Military stuff strange things start to happen ask Puddle Pirate about that. As far as having to defened your opion welcome to my world!! You hit the nail on the head with Ian about twisting the truth and I'm glad you could clear that up! I'm not using you at all I want the truth and if this can be proven we could hire the best lawyer available and push the issue! There has to be equipment out there that can be used on the tape to prove this!! Not that what you have done is not important just that this could be clearly heard and used in a court of law!!

I knew about starfish because I heard it on the tape. In exactly the same way as everything else. It's one of the clearest phrases. before that I had not even half a clue that there was a starfish. I thought perhaps it was the name of a bar on the base. so I did a search for starfish + rendlesham. Imagine my surprise when it pulled back all that info about project starfish.

And that's the point John. Until I heard it on th tape I had no clue about starfish. and yet there we are. So although you can't hear it, I am younger, have the advantage of being able to spend literally weeks on just those bits, and I have no adgenda, unlike some who have tried to help.

Lairikin is findable. I have found out he was at Woodbridge at that time. Aitkin too. John whilst i don't game play I don't often ask a question in this type of senario unless I know the answer first. And while that's not kind it gives me confidence in whom I am talking to.

I have a lead on the video with halt in where he says about someone missing for 3 days.

You John know as well as I do I am almost certainly right about Halt being present. As the deputy base comander present at the scene and recorder of the event, any investigation team OSI would need his guidance in order to even ask the right questions. we are both ex military so we know how it works.

What you should now tell us is why would "Jim" whoever he was and whoever mentions the starfish, say they needed to still go up there in the context of an interrogation. To get the radar records from there perhaps. In which case it was manned. But I think you know more exactly why don't you. If you won't say that's fair enough but it slows us down. And if you don't I will find out why the starfish is mentioned.

Also the African voice. I do think he was the Dr. One would have to be present I am sure. Anyone can be trained to give drugs or inject it's simple. what not everyone can sous asses when your subject could die from shock. So there had to be a Dr. who was an African with a thick African accent on the base who would feel confident enough in a situation like that to step foreward and say put your trust in god. Remember thebway God is pronounced is African. Like this - garwd. The way trust is said is using a roll of the tongue as well. again an African trait. Who was this man.

There are many questions that need answering which we could be directing our energies.

First of all I have never claimed to have been brought in and interagated Warren and others have! If this was being done and I only say if because I was not there and its not that i don't beleive them its just I was not there somebody could have been brought in to do this. It has been stated by Halt and others that they did go down to a British radar site and check the tapes. I also beleive somebody who claimed to be on duty at one of those sites came forword and said the USAF came and took the tapes! Again I'm not saying that happened but I know that has been said! As far as starfish goes it might want to be looked at not just inside the gate but outside the gate. And like I said when Puddle Pirate went down to the base last year after talking to me about some of this he had some strange things happen to him. Take a look at the marconi company and what they were working on to include project starfish. And its funney everytime this comes up and go back and look certain people show up and take this off topic and its not me that does that! Look at Martshalm Heath the Bt site Raf Watton and Bawdsey. There are large Sat dishes right outside the base and look at Cobra mist and the scientist who stayed at Bentwaters after it closed. Also look at why Cobra mist was shut down and who was brought in to try and fix it.
