We walked down the track admiring the stars, which had began to appear,
while Brenda took the occasional photograph capturing the normal quota
of strange mists, anomalous shapes and orbs, and stopped to sit down at a
bench overlooking the field belonging to Mr Boast - the scene, according to
Larry Warren, of the famous UFO incident which occurred in December 1980.

After a short sharp shower we continued on our journey, heading towards
an area, nicknamed ‘Blair Witch’,(not by me!), a secluded location in
the forest, (where I had the ignominies delight of being struck on the
back by a small white stone, during a previous visit to the forest ) but
stopped along the track to continue our observations over the field, now
the site of a table and seats, installed by the Forestry Commission as
forming part of a resting place for people walking along their’ UFO trail’,
marked out with posts replete with alien ‘greys’ showing the route of
the famous UFO incident, circa 1980. Whatever next! (for a fee of
course! Brenda then asked for a red green and blue orb to appear and
was rewarded by the capture on photo of a green and blue orb but no
red one, she then placed some cakes on the table and took further photos
while I of course was unable to capture anything

As we were about to enter the area ‘Blair Witch area, we heard a very disconcerting
noise like a thud and decided not to continue our journey there. Brenda then
told me she could see a white figure standing about 20 yards inside the trees.
I looked, not expecting to see anything, and with astonishment saw a slightly glowing
figure, with no facial features, standing on the forest floor before it vanished from sight. I rubbed my eyes and thought… did I really see that? But I had.
We walked back to the car park, Brenda maintaining she could see small silver figures and lights along the track. I never saw anything else but saw no reason to disbelieve her. I had, after all, just seen something I couldn’t explain rationally.

By now it was 11.45 p.m. Time seemed to be going slow, (ironically that night the clocks went forward to British Summer Time at 12 pm), and made our way back to
the car park, where we had a drink and then decided to walk up the track leading
to East Gate.

We stopped at the barrier leading to East Gate and began to walk slowly along the
tarmac road, now overgrown with weeds, when Brenda told me she could hear
something walking along the forest floor, adjacent to our position on the left. My
first thoughts were to hope it wasn’t a big cat, as there had been several sighting of
the animal in the locality. We slowed down and listened intently. There it was
again! … a padding noise to our left. I brought my misgivings to Brenda’s attention.
She dismissed the noise as being an animal.
The temperature had dropped. I felt cold for the first time. Something then lightly touched me on the back and neck, which began to unsettle me, as although I had
heard many people talk about being pulled and touched, I had always wondered if
their imaginations had taken hold of them. After all, the forest could be eerie as well
as breathtaking, especially at night.

As Brenda felt uncomfortable, we retuned to the barrier at the end of the track and
decided to monitor anything likely to happen. We both felt there was something
around us - a most uncomfortable feeling, which I had never felt before, and tried
to dismiss it from my mind, wondering if my imagination was playing tricks.

We looked up the East Gate track and saw something moving from side to side.
Brenda estimated it was 20 yards away. I would have put it at more than double that.
Suddenly, a large beam of light projected from above the forest track, not from any
appreciable distance in the sky but apparently just over the track, illuminating
something resembling the gantry of a crane to the left of the track, at a height I
estimated to be 30-40 feet in the air, dark and substantial in appearance, with a
rounded part on the top bent over. Another less defined similar object could be
seen on the opposite side of the track.

Even more incredible were a number of small black indistinct figures, a few feet in height, seen running backwards and forwards along the track, between the larger devices.

Brenda’s impression:

‘Like they were telling the little shapes what to do. It looked like they were building something. The tall shapes at the side then disappeared but the figures continued
to move from side to side, illuminated by a silvery glow emanating from behind them.’

John: I saw a number of lights exploding in the air beside Brenda, who shouted,
‘Oh my god, look at that!’ I looked and saw a grey figure stood next to her,
a few feet away. It then moved away into the Forest, accompanied by three or four other similar figures, rather than shapes, but with no discernible
features. I felt no fear or amazement whatsoever and, while remaining puzzled
about what I had seen, still felt a long way from concluding they were aliens from
an Alien vessel, which will no doubt exasperate Brenda. What the purpose of all this was I have no idea, only that I had experienced something highly unusual. How I wished Peter McCue had been with us this time!
Brenda: ‘I looked back up the East Gate track and saw a black object in the sky
above the track. The figures were still running from side-to-side, then light shone down on them again, illuminating the whole area far more brightly than before.
It was like daylight. I looked at my watch. It was 2 a.m. (old time).’

John: I never saw this object but then, without any noise or warning, something
quite large black in colour passed overhead, no more than 50-60 feet above us,
travelling towards the Forest. I shouted to Brenda but, by then, it had gone. The
next thing to happen was that we both felt something strike us on the right
leg, accompanied by the appearance of a white s shape at the side of the track. Once again we strained our eyes, looking up the track, and saw a small white puffy cloud
moving towards it, which disappeared in front of our eyes.

I was feeling really cold and had started to shiver, so I advised Brenda I
wanted to leave and make our way back to Brenda’s home. Brenda felt
she wanted to stay and continue with the observations, clearly excited she
had got some corroboration about the most peculiar events I had ever seen
manifest in the forest.

The glow in the middle of the track became more intense and a large black
‘blob’ appeared to come out of the light and head towards us. When a few feet
away, it too disappeared from sight. By now I was freezing, although oddly
Brenda said the left side of her face and ear were burning. It was 3.15 am.
(old time). Brenda was ‘cock a hoop’ that her pleas to whatever deities
occupied the forest for them to show me something had come to fruition.
What puzzled me more than anything was why we had never walked closer
to the scene of the incident. It wasn’t as if we were frightened. Also why
hadn’t I taken any photographs. I found this most odd.

The following morning, after separately writing up what we had seen, we
returned to the forest - now busy with people walking their dogs and children
cycling - the atmosphere completely different, and carefully examined
the sides of the track, which appeared to have been swept clean for a distance
of 10-15feet. but saw nothing of any note. It was almost as if it
hadn’t happened, except with one chilling difference…. it had!

Now I finally realised the substance of other similar reports brought to my
attention by others who had been visiting the Forest for a number of years
with their tales of strange figures and weird UFOS, spiralling out of the
forest on carpets of mist. I knew I would now no longer treat such reports
with scepticism, although I was not naive enough to know my own version
of events which had taken place would be treated any differently.
As Arthur Shuttlewood had once said, on the slopes of Cradle Hill ‘The
only way to experience for yourselves is to go out there and find out for
yourself what it is all about. Sitting in an armchair will never give you an
answer for anything.’

Brenda contacted me on the following evening (Sunday) and informed me the
left-hand side of her face was still red and burning. She also discovered two brown marks, like moles, on her right hand, near the thumb and 1st finger, not there previously to the visit to the Forest. She tried to pick them off but couldn’t.
by the Monday evening they had gone.

I also sustained what felt like a suntanned face and sore throat, which took
a fortnight to disappear.

Omar Fowler
Founder of the Phenomenon Research Association (PRA),based in Derby and a co-founder of Project FT the European database of all flying triangular UFOS, whose research and commitment into the UFO subject spans many years, with a reputation in this particular field is second to none, had this to say:-
Are we capable of seeing what is there in front of us? Our eyes have a very limited range of vision, their visible light range is only a fraction of the wide band known as the Electromagnetic Spectrum. Subsequently, our brains can only sift through the wide range of signals being presented before us, but are we missing something?
One of the questions most frequently asked by UFO witnesses is "surely someone else must have seen it?" The lack of other witnesses is often puzzling. Does this mean that the UFO witness has a more sensitive visual range than just seeing the basic spectrum of red and orange, through yellow green and indigo to violet?
We are being increasingly presented with cases where someone would see a UFO very clearly and others would not see it, others would see colours and some would not. It is becoming clear that not everyone perceives reality in the same way and in order to confirm our own ‘reality’, it has to be confirmed by others. Dr. John E. Mack has referred to this phenomenon as "differential perception". It is a phenomenon that is becoming more prominent in the minds of the UFO researcher.
Gordon Creighton, the editor of Flying Saucer Review, related the story he had received from a woman who witnessed such an event. She was a passenger on a ferry sailing from the Islands of Scilly to the mainland during the summer a few years ago. The ship was crowded and together with many passengers she was leaning on the handrail that runs along the side of the ship. They were some distance out at sea, when a disc shaped UFO craft emerged out of the water a short distance away and shot skywards. The woman was amazed by what she had seen and turned to speak to her fellow passengers. She was astonished to see people casually looking out to sea or chatting between themselves. Obviously they were completely oblivious to what had

Why can some people see UFO craft and others cannot? The sensory information coming through our eyes is so incomplete and is only a small part of what may exist.
Are we entering the realms of the psychic field? There are many reports of people having out of body experiences associated with UFO craft. One such person, ‘Paul’ told me "The information I can gather is that the ‘Triangles’ are from the future and coming back. I saw a photo in a magazine somewhere of a control panel in a Grey’s ship and I knew immediately! You put your hands on the panel that’s how you fly it…..it’s terrifying!"
These witness experiences are only a few of the many that have been related to me. The question that is now in everyone’s mind is the UFO craft travelling in another dimension?
The aliens have told us that ‘time’ is a human concept and of our own making. Could they be time travelers, coming from another dimension already here on earth and visible to the gifted few?
‘[b]We only believe what we see and to some extent we
see what we believe.

John
Re your post dated the 28th May. I used to go shooting in Rendlesham forest with a friend at night during the 80's, mostly for roosting Pheasant and Pigeon [Ok i know it was poaching, well the Pheasant was] and we never ever experienced anything strange/spooky or any thing you would call unusual.
We must have shot there a dozen times over a couple of years.
We even had chats on rare occasions through the airfield boundary fence with some of the SP's who were more interested in swapping fags than any thing else.
