Yes, in this interview Halt says the farmhouse appeared to be on fire, which has been his story up until recently.

"If it was a reflection etc . . "

The word 'reflection' is introduced by the programme makers, apparently quoting the former USAF Major James McGaha. Unfortunately, they don't air the actual quote so we don't know what sort of reflection McGaha might have meant - perhaps off the clouds, for example. Recall that the local police spoke of "strange visual effects" attributable to the lighthouse in a letter to Georgina (last page of this document)

Interestingly, even though the interviewer prompts Halt with the word 'reflection' he does not say anything about reflections in the farmhouse windows.

I would love to hear this 4-hour tape of security police traffic that Halt says he has, but even so that applies to the night on which he was involved, not the first night when Burroughs, Cabansag and Penniston were out there, which is the night we are mostly discussing here.

That's not in the notes of my meeting with him. I think I mentioned the supposed tape because it had been brought up in a discussion thread on this Forum at that time.

Who was the one who said Halt had 4 hours of tape? There was tape for all 3 nights!

That tape would be what was recorded at the Command post over the 3 nights of what when on over the SP net. It also was taken by Williams to Germany not a motion picture as reported. As Halt said it would blow this wide open and people would have trouble dealing with what was on it...
