Hi all

Thought i would mention this documentary. I'm not sure if it has been on before, but it was the first time for me.
Lt Col Halt and Jim Penniston were both interviewed in the forest by an American news man and there were some great shots of both bases and the forest.

There were areas where both men would not answer some of the questions and i got the feeling that they were just protecting their pensions! Jim filled up on one occasion and had to stop the interview.

A British scientist accompanied them along with Vince Thirkettle to both (alleged) landing spots and took radiation readings. The readings were normal and typical of that areas back ground readings. Mind you at over 20 years, the decay rate would have reduced them.

Vince Thirkettle actually rectracted his light house theory on camera aggreeing that the first landing spot was in too dense a forest for the light house light to penetrate.

Hi everyone

Just a bit more on this documentary.
As i said, Vince Thirkettle said on camera that he didn't think the lighthouse light could have penetrated the forest where they were standing.

The documentary saw Lt Col Halt, Jim Penniston, the American intereviewer, a British scientist and later Vince Thirkettle standing at the alleged spot of the first sighting.

The forest has changed a lot since the big hurricane and fire breaks etc are now in different places to pre hurricane. The first landing sight spot found by Messrs Halt & Penniston during the interview was on their part probably a guess.
So to be fair to Vince Thirkettle, this spot may be much more dense(right spot or not) than 20 plus years ago which may have been why he said the light could not have penetrated the forest. He was basing this statement of retraction on what he saw now not 20 years ago.

People have remarked that the TV company may have been instrumental in this change of mind so the mystery remained a mystery.

Its about time that we all including the debunkers kicked the lighthouse theory in to touch. For all the debunkers, try coming up with something a little more plausable?

For those hell bent on the lighthouse theory and won't let go. my question to them is, if it was/is the lighthouse why has this aeriel light phenomena not been seen more often rather than just 3 times 20 years ago?
