New Poll On Website Homepage

Postby Admin » Sat Apr 26, 2008 8:41 pm

Every six months I start a new poll. The latest one has just begun. To vote pleased visit the website's homepage, the poll box is located in the right column.

Please vote!

Were the radiation readings taken during the Rendlesham incident of any significance?

    * Yes, they were significant/raised.

    * No, they were unrelated to the "UFOs" or were measured incorrectly

Interesting prior poll you took last April, 2007

I was fascinated to see that 83% of the members voted that they believed the Rendlesham 1980 UFOs represented real objects of unknown origin as opposed to being an Apollo capsule or other accident or joke by the military, etc. that seems so popular to many of the frequent posters on this site. If I could have voted in that poll (wasn't a member back then), I would have voted with the vast majority since none of the doubters' points expressed here sound even close to being reasonable explanations of what happened in light of the facts as I understand them, i.e., that no noise occurred when the UFO was viewed by others, it disappeared in a blink of an eye (manmade vehicles in 1980 did not then or today land in the manner indicated by the witnesses, manipulate through trees as these did, vanish almost instantly, display other characteristics testified to by witnesses, etc.), the number and credibility of the eyewitnesses, the totality of the overall evidence which when viewed overall rules out all of the doubts raised on this board UNLESS THE WITNESSES ARE LYING, which I do not believe for one minute. While some testimonies may have become distorted due to attempts to hide the truth of what happened, I do not see anything raised so far by the doubters as being reasonable explanations of what happened. Would be interesting to see what that poll would reveal if redone after all the questions raised by the doubters in this group. I am willing to bet now that the majority vote would be at least as strong as it was when originally taken a year ago---my vote certainly would be added to the 83% majority. I find Rendlesham to be a much more convincing case than Roswell ever was.

Hi Robert
Great to have you posting, I'm one of the doubters!
The thing is this forum is open to everyone and a skeptical view point is essential!
Many of the doubters are professional people who have stood the test of time and courts, experienced cross examination by barristers. Others are ex military people and you will note that we have some real time witnesses on the site. The truth is none of us know at present what really happened at present.
I welcome your input and please, please keep posting, sell us a story , tell us why we are wrong, demonstrate with fact what you think happened.
Many of us are fascinated by the prospect that this case could be the first real sign of ET that we can pin down.
For us to say an event was caused by an ET it must face the test of skeptics and its better tested here on a forum in the cold light of day, carefully and thoughtfully than subject to a media frenzy
