... just to introduce myself - I'm win keech ... I wasn't directly involved with the Rendelsham incident ... Iwas in the 'wrong' airforce at the time stationed in the sw of England and then the ne of Scotland.
I have, however been a researcher for over 20 yrs. I did have a coffee and a chat with Col. Halt nearly 20 yrs ago, when he gave a talk at the monthly Quest meetings (before it became Quest intl. and before UFO Mag was created. Some of his answers to my questions raised questions that are still fresh in my mind. Some of the questions he wouldn't answer raised even more.
I have to declare that I am a friend of the much castagated Russ Kellett ... plenty of people have bad things to say about him - knowing him, I am not one of them. If Larry W is reading, I remember you punching the air and whooping when Russ finished talking at LAPIS ... Russ has been through hell with his experiences, so he doesn't make apologies and doesn't suffer fools gladly - this can be mistaken for rudeness at times.
I have just finished filming (after 2 yrs of research for verification) a documentary for Russ, wrt the Berwyn Incident (jan 1974) in North Wales ... that was a shoot down (one of several at the time) ... some of the unique documentation Russ has concerning that incident, and several similar, does infact have a bearing upon the later Rendelsham incident ... and answers some of the unanswered questions from Col. Halt ... hence my interest here.
Yes, I am well known for my crop circle research ... esp my filming of the 777 formation happening - yes I will answer sensible questions about that. As a technologist/engineer I probably will add my two penn'th on technical matters ... as an ex IBM systems specialist and an ex Rolls Royce advanced mech tech engineer, I can stand my ground quite well in that arena ... and can often add unique perspectives.
If Larry is reading ... Russ is organising a conference/soapbox in Scarborough North Yorks for 29/30th October 2009 - if you would like to speak, he would be honoured to have you there ... for John or anyone else who would like to have their say, I'm sure he would extend that offer to you. The whole premise of the two day conference is to let those who want to have their say - have their day ... he is fed up of book-writing self publisists clouding the subject and no one else getting a word in edgeways, so he has organised and funded this himself. I will be talking there and will be glad to support him. Flying Saucer Review are also strongly supporting the event ... it should be a landmark two days.
