SYNOP Requests

This is an old revision of the document!

SYNOP Request : Enter the station name with its WMO code in “WMO INDEXES”, leave everything else as default, then choose its date and time interval. The result is displayed as a SYNOP AAXX code like this:

            07002 06/// /3013 10124 20081 30115 40197 57005 60001
AAXX 19124  333 4//// 60007 90710 91126
            555 60005=

Copy and paste all the AAXX data from the ogimet website to http://metaf2xml.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/metaf.pl?lang=en into the box under “SYNOP examples” (leave 'message' checked) and click on “decode” and you have your table.
