Firstly, from what I understand, I think John Burroughs has always thought the RFI was caused by a more down to earth penonemon rather than some alien craft, but I could be wrong.

Secondly, To remember where this object landed 30 years ago would be easy if it was in your own back yard, but this was in a large forest, which none of the witnesses were that familiar with and as you may remember the forest and its logging paths were in slightly different places after it was re -planted post 87 storm. It would be unfair to expect very accurate locations. We must also consider that even our main witnesses cannot agree on the landing site locations and with Halt admitting he invented new sites really does not help one bit. I have never been that interested in the alleged landing sites and where they may have been except the one Jim Penniston out lined on the approach line of the runway. That tells me lots.

Does anyone know if these pictures were taken facing the direction of the farmer's field? The light through the trees seems to indicate the edge of the forest.

Burroughs' witness statement: "All three of us hit the ground and whatever it was started moving back towards the open field. After a minute or two we got up and moved into the trees and the lights moved out into the open field".

Edward Cabansag: "We were about 100 meters from the edge of the forest when I saw a quick movement, it look visible for a moment . It look like it spun left a quarter of a turn, then it was gone. I advised SSgt Penniston and A1C Burroughs. We advised CSC and proceeded in extreme caution."

This seems to imply he had to make radio contact with Penniston and Burroughs. Probably Ed was a bit further behind the men during that episode - maybe this causes the confusion about Ed acting a a radio relay. He probably only saw something from a distance and it was gone when he passed the forest.

When Bruni interviews him he elaborates: "I had, and still have, better than average vision. There was no fog, it was a clear night and I could see something moving which was silver in colour with lights.” “It was cone-shaped – egg-shaped, with lights running around its belt from left to right. They were blue, white and red lights, flashing, sometimes rapid, sometimes slow" "It is difficult to describe. We were all trying to make sure what we’d seen”

Come along to our event on Sept 10, and we will take you to this very sight, these trees were cut down during the nineties however the stumps are still there and we have comparison photo's taken in the nineties to proove where this site is, ie the trees match perfectly. These trees were in fact damaged, looked as though they were heated up and the rear faces were blown out, they also had scratch marks on the inside faces. When photos were taken in the nineties the holes in the ground were picked up with divining rods where the 3 stakes were knocked into the ground. We will also take you to Halt's site, the tumuli, the sites to the north of WB base near the Woodbridge base back gate (not the East Gate), and any other sites you wish to have clarification on in that forest. We also have photographic evidence that someting happened near the Autovon site, Foxhall Road near the USAF/RAF Martlesham site.

I believe the old Autovon site at Foxhall road is partially open to the public as a museum now.

It is, it's a museum however I have yet to visit since it became one. I did visit the site years ago but that was after the vandals had got to it and it was somewhat trashed, looks good now though. There was talk the towers were going to come down, but looks like that won't happen now. There are two massive diesel generators in a out building, with fuel tanks to suit. They were almost full of diesel when I visited, must have been 30,000 gallons in each tank!.

Was out on this very spot last night, it was awesome, we had a free of charge air display by Apache Gunships 100 ft off the ground. For the record these trees were NOT cut down in the mid ninties but in 2004, my appologies for this error. Strange place this area, very little plant growth, maybe soil contamination. Anyone got a geiger counter?.

One guest we have confirmed is an ex UK Suffolk Fire Service firefighter who was based at Woodbridge Fire Station in Dec 1980. According to him there was an incoming call reporting a 'large' orange ball of light or fireball that was seen to go through the back gate of RAF Bentwaters at Wantisden Valley. His unit was dispatched but a call came through on route that they should return to base as the USAF Bentwaters Fire Department were attending the scene and the Suffolk Fire Service were not needed.

Open the link in another window. At the bottom of the picture you can see the east end of RAF Woodbridge runway. Now look at the circular image with the dark green center (light coloured circular shape with a dark green circular center). Above that there is a triangular shaped section of trees. In that rough area is the location we think this photograph above was taken, the photo obtained by Georgina Bruni featuring a British Policeman and a US Airman (Capt Verrano) with his hands behind his back. We are sure this is that location because we have photographs taken in 2002 and the trees and branches match PERFECTLY with those in above photos. I may be able to post these photo's up if I get permission from him but we will show these photos on Sept 10 at our talk. The trees were cut down in 2004 but at the exact spot my colleague used divining rods in 2002 and found the three holes where the steaks were knocked in. We refer to this location as Area 1. This location is almost bare, like nothing seems to want to grow, maybe an area 15ft in diameter

Bignos I have know Idea what your talking about? Thanks Gordy I got a E-mail about a year ago from one of the guys working that night on Security in one of the Napa who said they saw somthing land over there off the runway.

Also in Burens statement which when he poped in on this forum he was asked about and refused to talk about it he said Verano told him about several other sightings when he talked to him later that mourning. That was also interesting because Buren claimed he took off right after our incident happened.

Maybe this was one of them. It surfaced in the MOD Rendlesham files. Too bad the notes on the drawing are not readable.

Not sure but I know that different people saw different things and I have been told somthing was seen at the end of the runway. I also know we went on alert status by alert I mean a helping hand at one pointe and the tower saw somthing. Gordy I sure would like to see those photos and is there any evidence still there? And please note by no means does this change where we were at... I know some of you have talked with Armold why don't you ask him about where he was taken to.
