I have experienced the helicopters too Jac. Quite un-nerving to experience as they are very noisy. What great fun, camping out in Rendlesham and being there at night. Make sure you witness the bright beam of the lighthouse, and be sure to take your sunglasses

Take random photos with your digicam in the bushes particularly along the track where site 3 (Colonel Halt's site) is situated, and don't feel un-nerved if you feel like you are being watched whilst walking down this track

If you hear what sounds like wolves howling during the night, don't get spooked and suddenly pack up and go; a husky breeder lives nearby and this is all you are hearing.
Maybe take a compass, and see how it reacts towards the top end of logging track 8 (previously route 12). At the top of route 8 at the edge of the farmer's field you will find two beech trees to your right. Look towards the base of the trunk of the furthest tree to the right and look for the natural ET looking face in the trunk (the 'Alien tree.') At the top of route 8 and the last track on the left, and the area of trees on your left hand side is what is known as 'Blair witch' where people have alleged to have experienced 'missing time' personally i will believe it when i experience it, but you never know

At the top of route 8 and in the farmer's field (on your left, facing the field is Larry Warren's oak tree).
Entering the forest from what was previously route 10 opposite Folly House, take the first path on the left then take the next logging track to the right. A few hundred yards down is where a 'big cat' ie a Panther was alledgedly seen sitting in a clearing. Also take random pictures down this track for orbs.
There are various outside interests of the forest. Sutton Hoo (personally i'd save my money), Orford Castle, or maybe sit on Orforness beach and see if you can see green lights moving under the water? Or see objects suddenly suddenly emerging out of the water which various people have claimed to have witnessed.
Apart from this, have a good weekend, and have fun. Wish it was me

Will be good to hear of any experiences you have.
