Hello

Hi all, I'm puddlepirate....why puddlepirate? Well, I served over 12 years with the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) and one of the more polite nicknames given to the RNR by the full time Royal Navy and the Royal Marines was 'puddle pirates' and I quite liked that, in a rather obscure and not to say, perverse way.

I live in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire in the southeast UK. I have been interested in UFO's ever since my younger brother and I saw strange lights in the sky over Watford, way back in 1963 (which by simple maths, obviously makes me an old git). Some years later I realised that what we saw must have been a prototype of the Harrier jump jet undergoing night flying tests. The aircraft was built at a factory only a few miles away. Other interests include sailing, photography and writing.

Now I have more time on my hands, I've decided to become more involved in ufology. I'm not really a believer in little green men or visits by aliens - but I am open minded and prepared to listen and if hard evidence comes along which conclusively proves that such entities exist, then great.

This is the first UFO forum I've joined and it looks very interesting.
You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time (Winston Churchill)...causa latet, vis est notissima
