Hi All
First of all i'm not a sceptic but i always have an open mind to this mystery.
During the 70/80's and early 90's Skoda cars were and still are made in communist Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). In those days they were an autonomous company but now owned by VW.
They were imported into the UK via Kings Lynn in Norfolk where they had offices and many (more than is usual) Russian and Czech employees with a few Brits as well. MI5 had this office block and business under surveillence as they did at Zenith house in Collindale north london, but thats another story.
It was suspected that this Kings Lynn importer employed agents whos sole purpose was to scout around the area trying to establish the extent of the NATO nuclear capability in East Anglia.
The Rendlesham Forest incident could have been one of these spying missions where they had black mailed or bought off a disaffected US airman and it was an attempt to smuggle out a nuclear weapon. The idea was to smuggle it out of Britain via the Skoda car company at Kings Lynn.
The blaze of lights and moltan metal was the primer going off on the weapon which was not actually armed for nuclear detonation.
The minor explosion sent balls of plasma into the air.
The slightly higher radiation readings were due to some of the fission material being spilt but only in tiny quantities.
The debris was quickly cleared up and then started the cover up which would have been an instant decission by the officer attending.
Could this be the reason the local prison was put on evac standby?
Yet another conspiricy theory i know but it does sound intriguing.
