I'm sure Puddlepirate can answer this, but i think it was Northwood Hills near London. I cannot think of any Coms for subs being in the area of the twin bases or in Suffolk, but i am no expert.

Sorry gentlemen but I have absolutely no comment to make on this. It is worthwhile remembering that this forum can be read by anyone, anywhere who has access to the internet. As you will know a basic tenet of security is 'need to know'. Submarines, or as they are referred to in the trade, boats, have no relation to Rendlesham and in my view any discussion regarding sub-surface comms, be they related to current equipments, previous equipment fits or systems in development, is outside the scope of this forum.

John
Why do you ask about a coms site for subs? In what context is this to do with Rendlesham? Please explain.

I have an old pal who was in the RN 'full time' so i can ask him and send you a PM.
