What I am criticising is the event content and the fact that despite the pre-event build up, not a single new fact was revealed. Even the contentious binary codes could not be revealed at the event. As for the civilian witnesses, I have no idea who they spoke to in private but I was there and I saw with my own eyes that they tried to speak but were either cut short or simply not listened to so were unable to speak in public at any length about what they saw or experienced. Certainly several from the audience asked questions of the those on the stage but those questions were simply covering old ground. There were four people who had something very interesting to say - the guy who was stopped on the public highway by a road block manned by USAF personnel; the woman who mentioned seeing strange lights near the bases; the guy who commented on parts of the forest being sealed off and another guy who was ex-RAF and on duty in the radar ops room at RAF Neatishead on the nights in question. Nothing that any of these four said raised any interest from those on the stage. Their testimony was simly brushed aside and treated as irrelevant.
Why should I when all that was being said was the same old stuff that has been said a thousand times before and covered many times on this forum? I was hoping for something new. Some new revelation about your excursion into the forest. Most of all, and probably the only reason I attended, I was expecting a walk around the forest where you and Penniston were going to point out the various landing sites. I was also very keen to see the beam from the lighthouse sweeping through the trees. I spoke to Larry Warren a couple of times and hung around at east gate until around 0215. When it became obvious that there was not going to be a tour of the landing sites (apparently because this had been filmed the previous day) I left, as did many others.JB - How come you didn't say one word or ask one question?

I arrived in the hall quite early, before the event started and had a very brief chat with LW. I met him again later, in the east gate service road and at the T junction. I sat in the hall for over 5 hours until the event closed at around 2320 then headed off to the forest. I saw the ex-RAF guy have a go at someone down towards the front who he felt was insulting service personnel. I listened as the guy who was stopped at the road block started to tell his story but nobody on the stage seemed at all interested in what he had to say. Ditto the other three that I mentioned. The ex-policeman sitting behind me was very critical of the behaviour of USAF personnel when off base. The lady sat next to me almost fell asleep with boredom.....
When standing at the back of the crowd at east gate I was even asked by a female member of the History Channel production crew if I thought it was an alien or military event. When I said it was military she asked if I'd like to go on camera and answer some questions. I declined because unlike some, I can live quite happily without fiteen minutes of fame and much prefer to go about my research being the man in grey that nobody notices but who listens to everything.
er, the information in given out in the hall was that the tour of the forest was going to take place and that's why most people went to east gate! How the bloody hell would we - the audience - know where YOUR landing sites were if YOU weren't there to tell us. Jeez and to think you clowns were guarding nuclear weapons. Gawd help us.JB - It was late very cold and the weather at that point was foggy and was not safe to take that many people into the Forrest. Anybody was free on there own at that pointe to go out there for themselves and take a look! Plus again why did you not bring that up at the conference

No I believe that was called the Men in Black!puddlepirate wrote:And since you like quotations so much, perhaps this gives you the answer you seek...."Never hold discussions with the monkey when the organ grinder is in the room."

I wasn't there nor have I ever served in the USAF so I can only give a personal opinion based on my impression of LW after meeting him at the event on the 28th. He came across to me as an OK, honest bloke who has never changed his story so I have absolutely no reason to doubt his word. He says he was there and I believe him.

The fact that they are still trying means there is something behind it . But there are many members, some of which I suspect are involved in the cover up. They tend to cause confusion.
There are some straight members who I dont think are involved Puddlepirate for one and IanR for another example.
Its strange how just after the RFI conference lots of new members turn up, with all sorts to say. Who is pulling their strings.
JB asked to confirm he is not part of the disinformation, just doesnt reply , efffectively " no comment" if you were interviewing some one under caution. What does that tell you?
