Hello, Bonjour, Guten Tag etc. I am based in the UK and have worked 10 years as a Storyteller. Material derives mainly from traditional myths, legends and folktales from cultures around the world. HOWEVER I have always been interested in developing 'legends of our time' and 'stories for our future'. Folklore in the past was concerned with fairies, giants etc, yet those stories also reveal facts and philosophy of people long ago. I sense that modern fascination with UFOs, paranormal events, Big Cats and so forth mirror modern concerns. Of course, storytellers and people interested in UFOs are all labelled hippies and weirdos! - I work in the full knowledge that storytelling is supposedly fiction and UFO reporting struggles to be factual. If nothing else I can at least aim to tell Rendlesham and other accounts free of sensationalism. A good storyteller does not gratuitously embellish narrative: just decribing the experiences in the forest will be vivid and compelling. I find this site down to earth (sorry...) and refreshingly hype-free, so I'm joining the forum in the hope of gathering more detail about Rendlesham (including 1995) and anything subsequent, also about other UK UFO events. No time wasters, please.
