Hi
Well done Sam for those 'vintage' UFO pictures, i expect that they are going to be hard to anylise and even harder to draw conclusions on.
What they do suggest is, UFO's have probably been around longer than we realise.
Just to remind every one that not all sightings are going to be 'alien space craft'. For the record, British Aerospace have at least 3 experimental aircraft that are being used for stealth technology development.
One is a BA Hawk which has been modified for 3 rd generation stealth using air frame illumination in the same spectrum as day light. It thus becomes invisible to the naked eye, but it will still leave a contrail if flown at altitude. The other aircraft is a BA Tornado which is used for radar reflection experiments. The technologey is highly classified and on a par or ahead of the US. The 3 rd is a UAV/UACV, these machines are employing both technologies with some technology so advanced that they are all on 'D' notice.
The North sea is a favourite testing area for BA and it would be wise to bare this in mind when spotting UFO's in and around this area.
If a UFO is spotted that makes no noise or leaves no contrail, it just could be an electric powered UAV? They are out there now flying all over the place during day and night. Some have many hours of endurance and are satelite navigated with onboard computers that are programming its flight envelope. There are also ground controllers giving input as well.
