Just a thought, and i'm sure others are aware. The Rendlesham forest incident took place before the great hurricane (cannot remember the date but it was post UFO) that flattened about half the forrest and surrounding woodland.
The forest lay out now, although similar in parts to what it used to be is quite different in vast areas to when i used to shoot there. So those having a walk round today must bare in mind that the current geography may not be of great assistance or that accurate when getting bearings etc.
However all is not lost as most of the logging tracks are still in the same place. To complicate this, some new fire breaks were introduced during re planting.
