As the RFI took place at Christmas, I thought it would be fun to look at the original Christmas story and see if I could find any similarities. I didn't have to look very far... the Star of the East http://mb-soft.com/public/stareast.html seems to have caused all kinds of controversy, not least because nobody can decide what it was that they actually saw ( I doubt it was Russian ). Also there seems to be a lot of confusion over the actual dates. Maybe that explains why we eat turkey for days on end, that way we know we are eating it on the right day.

A quote that completely cracked me up was this;
In case you're curious, traditionally, people think about THREE wise men arriving to see Jesus. There is no actual support for that number. It is possible that as many as twenty may have arrived.
Hang about...20, so where are all the witnesses to back this up?

A Merry Christmas to one and all.

Cheers

Good work ever body, keep it light hearted as its Christmas.

Now, those 3 wise men is getting a bit close to the Erich Von Daniken theory.
Dodgy ground chaps.
Hang on, didn't LW say he saw the 3 wise men in Rendlesham, but they were not on horse back this time.

Actually ST most of it is HUMBUG.

I've just rearranged my Christmas tree lights so i have all blue ones round the base and they twinkle like little stars.
I haven't quite figured out yet how to get dripping molten metal or sparks to fly off it cos i don't want to torch the tree.
My fairy on top has been replaced with a Revel model of the CE3 mother ship complete with flashing light.

My wife thinks I'm bonkers, but then she's right, i am.

Hello all,
BTDT here,
Well I said I would confess at Christmas time, Well here goes, the 67th AARS had Santa in that recovery capsule and well swung him into the approach lights at the East end of the Woody runway, dropped the capsule and nearly killed him. The awaiting USA kids all cryed for the appearance of Santa that never occured. The hasty clean up operation by 67th AARS personnel dressed in green consumed several evenings and included some very important VIP's. Imagine, the headlines, "Santa nearly killed by the USAF in Rendlesham Forrest news at 11:00". Clean up operations negated a nasty release of unfavorable information for the USAF bases at BW and WB.
Just kidding, of course!
Please see my last input on the National Security thread, it's your X-mas present from me this 28th anniversary of the RFI.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, SORRY, HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

BTDT

I heard it was Santa's sleigh that crash landed in the forest and the poor old Reindeer were running all over the place. It took 80 men to round them up over 3 nights.
