John,

You have to remember that Electro-Magnetism (EM) is everywhere. Almost everything that we refer to as ‘modern technology’ is based on EM. From the chips controlling my computer to the radar stations sensing incoming planes. So yes, you’ll find lots and lots of stories (and nonsense) about research on EM and naturally there is also interest from the military.

The reason is the poorness of our knowledge: There are only four fundamental forces in nature and EM is the only one we have learned to manipulate. Almost all our high-tech stuff is build on this ability. Even our chemistry is based on making and breaking the EM bonds between atoms.

The other three fundamental forces are: Strong Interaction, Weak Interaction, and Gravity. (http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/forces/funfor.html)
Our current knowledge of physics does not provide feasible ways to manipulate them with the same ease as Electro-Magnetism.

What would happen if we ever find out how to manipulate Gravity? It will open a whole new world of possibilities, one of them being the ability to manufacture fast flying machines without exhausts that can make rapid, sharp angular movements..

More about that here: http://www.hyper.net/ufo/physics.html

Frank The fact that the BT site was neck deep in Em teck back then and still is today says alot. The Marconi company was the leading company along with GE aerospace.Em is highly classified today just as it was back then. This kind of Tech will be used and is being used in the wars that are and will be fought. Everybody descriptions has somthing to do with EM and radition. This is my stance we stumbled out into a EM test a test that is still on going today. There is a natural engery field out there to include the testing our governments our still doing. Why was NSA there and still is. What was blocking Cobra mist it was not the Russian it was somthing else. EM and its effects sum up most of whats been stated by those involved.

John

As much as I like the idea that some sort of EM was being transmitted in the area [I havn't given up on the idea] and it affected you and your coleagues, it would have affected a much wider area including the British locals as well, and no body reported feeling strange or weird from the British community. If there was some sort of EM experiment going on, does it have to be from the US or Britain!!

Cobra Mist was a joint US/British project and I cannot see why we would want to disable it with experimental EM or microwaves. So why would they jeapardise that, too much money had been invested to play silly games with an alleged EM experiment. As I said earlier, Cobra Mist had been decommissioned and dismantled by 1977 BECAUSE OF AN INCURABLE INTEREFERENCE/NOISE ON THE SCANNERS.It was suspected but not proved that the Russians were trying to jam it. I have no idea why the NSA were their.

The British Telecom [BT] research centre at Martlesham Heath was a Comms research lab. Not only that, everybody would have been on leave over Christmas except security. Oh dear, forgot to turn off the microwave oven before we left the lab for Christmas.

Its easy to point the finger at the BT site but there is not one shred of evidence to say they were the place it was all coming from. The only EM I know about is the EMP [electro magnetic pulse] that comes from a nuclear explosion and it usually burns out solid state electronics if they were not hardened against it. This is why the Russians used good old fashioned Valve [tube] comms in their miltary aircraft, it was immune to the EMP.

If we are to believe those symptoms you all reported of an electric atmosphere and your hair was standing up and seemed like time had slowed down, then I suggest that was from some other electrical phenomena not EM.
