ST

A similar thing happened with the cows in South Wales after several of these 'sightings' by a Farming Family

The cows seemed to end up in the wrong field after each 'fly by' which happened on several occasions.

They put it down to a loose gate at first but they realised after making the gate more secure the cows would have had to unlock the gate, lock it behind them, walk down the lane, past the farm where they lived, open another gate and close it behind them. All in the middle of the night! Apparently there were no imprints of the cows hooves in the mud although it was wet at the time.

Unless the cows were expert hangliders it does boggle the mind.

I thought it was only 'pigs' that flew because there is a notice on the office wall saying 'Pigs might fly'.

Good stuff. Balanced and well presented as usual.

As you say Admin, a nice mix of pros and cons.

They keep getting that Planet Venus in though!
If PC Godfrey was close enough to throw a stone at that and it bounced off we might be in trouble!

The story was on Channel 5 (UK) this eve. I missed the first 30 mins but caught PC Godfrey's bit. Also, a previous post on the forum mentioned something being 'a mile wide and low enough to throw a rock at....' Not wanting to throw a wet blanket over that one, just think about it for a minute. How high can someone throw an average rock? 100ft? A mile wide? Just think how big that is. Something a mile wide is HUGE - and just 100 ft off the ground? The world and his dog would have seen it!! Heck at that height you could have seen the pilot's and plane captain's name painted on the side....
You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time (Winston Churchill)...causa latet, vis est notissima
