hi all

I have just become very interested in this incident, i remember hearing about it some years ago but a recent documentary peaked my interest. i have watched all of the documentarys listed on the site but am a little confused as they all seem to tell a different story, or possibly different parts of the same story? could someone please claify this...

i am planning to visit the sites but again there also seems to be some confusion over the sites, some places say 3 landings but the documentaries say 2...

i camped here back in 1987 when i first got my driving liscence, because i wanted to watch the A10s, i did not know about the incident at the time and was busy watching planes. at one point myself and a friend moved around the fence to get a better view of the aircraft and found ourselves on the apron?! dont know how, we just followed the fence and it happened. i find it strange that people keep saying how secure the base was if two 17 year old lads found themselves next to aircraft without trying....

I cant believe that i missed the event on the 30th, but i found out too late, does anyone else know of anything similar happening or if anyone regularly goes to the site that could show me around? i know its a lot to ask, but if you dont ask you dont get! if not does anyone have any reliable o/s map data or be able to point me to it?

thanks for looking anyway
Ash
