That's unbelievable, really.. well, then again no it isn't. It's not like it's the first time it happened.. even here with the biggest UFO case, the Westall '66 case in Victoria, after all this time a documentarian realises there's a UFO case that has been kept quiet, he digs into it, gets to the reel where there was kept a news report on the case and... it's not there. An empty reel. Witnesses questioned told to shut up, teachers told their jobs would be terminated, the lot. Even a missing schoolchild who went right up to the landed craft, and a maintenace guy from the school who went right up to the craft as it was sat on the road, 2 of them.
Without question there is a cover-up, and there really are no surprises about missing files on the Rendlesham case.. its just further proof. I get the feeling though that slowly, ever so slowly, disclosure is occurring; gradually they are drip-feeding the public and who knows, perhaps the big ones such as Rendlesham they will hold back until they feel "ready" to let the people know.
