I've seen "hieroglyphics" from the reported Rendlesham case

Postby Shino » Thu Apr 15, 2010 1:06 pm

Sgt Penniston claimed to have carried out an on-site investigation of the object he described to have landed. This included drawings of what he believed to be some sort of writing on the surface of the object. The inconsistencies in some of the stories in this case have been highlighted before and whilst I do have questions about it, I couldn't ignore this.

On the right hand side of this website, below his illustrations of the actual object, are his drawings of this writing. Below is an image published in the early 19th century in Japan pertaining to a folklore of an object coming ashore, with a woman coming out. The image makes reference to the strange writing encountered on the object. You can find more information of this here

There seem to be some similarities. With strange writing said to have been seen on other objects in other witness accounts of "UFOs" in the past, I thought this was interesting.

Hi Shino,

Years back, I wrote a thread called Speculating on the Symbols. On the far right, the two small triangles contain ...for the one on top, one small circle on the edge of the triangle;for the one at the bottom, two circles on the lines of the triangle. All the others, are alighned differently than what JP drew and there are fewer.

NSA may have demanded the thread to be deleted. (smiley) I identified the function of each symbol.

You don't happen to have a copy of your conclusions do you?

there are also videos about this on YT. Recently James Penniston said in an interview that the symbols on the japanese craft looked very similar to what he has seen. That's also what I thought when I compared them. Maybe they are not the same (just other letters of the ''alphabet'') but the similarity is striking.

btw, I have an idea in regard to the symbol with the triangle and the circles on J. Penniston's notepad. The Great Pyramid in Egypt has an anlge of inclination of 51,8333 °. This means that two times the base (230.33 meters) divided by the height (146.59 meters) results in pi with a deviation of only about 4 centimeters in height. I could imagine that in former times the angle was even more exact than nowadays, i.e. that it was close to 50,85397 °, i.e. much closer to pi. But since pi is an irrational number you can't make it a perfect angle anyway. Well my point is that this symbol could indicate a connection to the pyramid in Egypt because the big circle sourrouds the corners of the triangle (2D pyramid). In 3D you could symbolize this as a circle around the quadratic base (four times the base / height = 2*pi = circumference of the unit circle). I don't know about the other two circles, maybe they represent the Sun and the Moon or Earth. Pi is one of the most important numbers in mathematics. And since the craft itself was quite geometric (triangle in shape) ... who knows ?
