Cobra Mist on Orford Ness

Some people have tried to link the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident to the Cobra Mist experimental over the horizon radar instalation on Orford Ness island. The OTH system which was several acres of masts and antennas started in 1968 and was stopped in 1974. It was not long after that , that it was all dismantled. This is way before the 1980 incident in Rendlesham forest. The old 'pagoda' structures seen on the island today were left over from the British nuclear weapons centrifuge testing in the 50'and 60's. The modern looking building that can be seen on the island today with antenna on the roof is one of the BBC's world service transmitter/relay stations.
