Conspiricy theories

Postby Observer » Tue May 29, 2007 8:12 am

In 2 recent SKY channel programs dealing with conspiricy theories there was suggestion that the Rendlesham forest incident was linked in some way with experimental establishments on Orfordness and RAF RADAR
Bawdsey.

In a later program dealing with the 'Shingle Street' wartime incident, it intimated that what ever happened at Shingle Street may be linked to events in Redlesham forest decades later. The programm ended with no definate answer to the Shingle Street mystery.

I don't buy the bit about connections with Shingle Street and Rendlesham, but the Orfordness link has to my mind been smouldering away in the back ground as a possible explanation to the R/forest incident. Its worth futher investigation.

Orfordness connection

Hi Admin

The program that dealt with the Rendlesham forest incident suggested that experimental work being conducted on Orfordness by the British Nuclear weapons establishment may have had some influence to the R/Forest incident. Cobra mist [RADAR Installation] on Orfordness was not mentioned, even though 'sit on the fence' Jenny Randles seems to think it did.
Cobra Mist was dismantled before 1980.

The program that dealt with Shingle Street also suggested that experiments conducted at Shingle Street [although it seems it was an accident that was covered up rather than an experiment] was in some way instrumental in later events in Rendlesham.

Apparently, locals said there was a huge yellow/orange glow coming out of Tangham wood and they thought it was a fire, but when the local soldiers investigated, there was no sign of a fire or what had caused the bright glow from the woods. Remember Shingle Street was in the 1940's
so who knows what kind of things were going on, mostly i suspect to do with our defence of an invasion by the Germans.

Every occupant at Shingle Street was evacuated for a period of several weeks. The Government will still not reveal what happened but most locals say it was a 'mini' invasion by Germany that went horribly wrong.
