Talk about losing the plot..... what on earth is going on. We have several camps now... one says there was no flying, no incident, nothing at all. Another states there was a major evacuation, aircraft which needed to be ready for flying ops at around 0600 were left, areas of the forest were cordoned off and guarded by the USAF, Halt led a squad on a four mile hike (out and back) following lights, yet another claimes odd lights, strange atmospherics and a craft, another still suggests trees were knocked down and helo's were up; many confirm the arrival of a C5 and that equipement/transport carried in the C5 entered the forest......

So many people seeing - or in some cases not seeing - different things at, apparently, the same time. Call me old fashioned but if I were a serious sceptic I'd be inclined to believe we are being deliberately misled. Odd that when we get reasonably close to a highly probably occurrence, weirdness comes out of the woodwork.......

Puddle
OK, What do you think happened? If you look at what came out at the very begining Penniston and I were very close to the same thing what would cause us to see the same thing and look at it very differently?

I've put several theories forward... mostly to do with an accident with a weapon or an aircraft malfunction of some kind that resulted in the ditching of a weapon or the pilot ejecting but I don't have any concrete evidence to support either theory. However, this forum is such a confusion of conflicting stories, contradictions, misinformation and total nonsense that it is utterly useless as a source for any sensible research.

It is entertaining but that is all. Any serious research into the RFI has to be conducted elsewhere.

Hi all

I agree with puddle, this forum is one gigantic mess and trying to sort it out with so many conflicting posts that i have lost the will to even try.
When some body comes up with some concrete evidence worth further investigation, i might take it seriously again.

PP, That's just totally summed up the RFI, I guess the forum just reflects it!

Totally agree Puddlepirate, I dont think any two witnesses have come up with the same story and thus the forum goes round in circles.Look if I was there that night I for one would come up with a concrete story, sketches, more detail of the craft(this is vital) list of witnesses,go to the military with questions etc.John is there any possibility that the military have briefed you to smoke screen the whole event(like you would tell us lol),because I'm sure you could be more detailed with your desctription of events. If a weapon, aircraft etc was "lost in the woods" by the military of course those involved would have been briefed,on the other hand if theres no story to start with eventually it will end up as this forum has going round in circles.Do you guys know where I am coming from?
