Gordy

Did you ever get to hear the talk by a pilot of an SR-71, it was a few years ago now at the Martlesham Heath Aviation society meeting in the local community hall. It was fascinating. The guy was really down to earth and friendly. What I didn't know is out of the 32 odd planes made, over half were lost in accidents.
We asked him if he knew what may have replaced the 71 and he said some sort of black project but he didn't know any details as they were hardly likely to tell him.
Cheers

Hi Gordy!
Yes: I've met several SR-71 pilots: I've even got bits of half a dozen of the crashed planes (As well as bits of A-12s)

Hi David

Did they ever hint at what might have replaced SR-71? Its a similar story with what's replaced the F-117 if any any.

Hello Obs!
The two I've spoken to at any length have been Bob Gilliland and Rich Graham. I asked exactly that question and they seemed happy to answer, but confessed that they were out of the loop.
Their best guesses seemed to be either a hypersonic drone or, more likely, better synchronous surveillance satellites.
Sorry I can't help much.

Thanks David

Thats more or less what I expected.
Just as a matter of interest, this forum some two years ago discussed the subject of hypersonic aircraft and other more slower black project air craft that could have been part of the RFI. It was just a few of us being a tad fanciful, but it did raise some interesting questions about what was going on in the big black program world.

Weren't the Pheonix lights military flares dropped on long delay parachutes, I thought the Airforce had owned up to it.

".... military flares dropped on long delay parachutes"

Tell that to the hundreds of witnesses who reported a huge dark object behind the lights, or the TV crews who videoed the object moving against the wind, or Governor Symington who described the object as 'otherwordly'
The military agenda is to attempt to describe any anomalous aerial object in terms of mundane objects!

Have you ever looked at the Phoenix lights case? There were triangler objects to include a huge one that flew over the city. At different times there was also other objects that were seen in the sky to include some that were seen in other parts of the state. At one pointe there might have been some flares that were being used by the AF. But the funney thing is it took them several weeks to admit that..

John

The only info I have is from the TV Docs I saw. Yes, people reported a huge triangular shape with lights in the sky travelling in a particulat direction and quite slowly. The other lights seen over the mountain ridge looked like military flares to me and the USAF said they were but not untill they got pestered by the media to come up with an explanation.
Of course it may not be true and I have an open mind on both sightings. One theory put forward was, both incidents originated from Area 51!! Who knows.

What i'm more interested in is how are we going to move the RFI investigation forward with new intel?

OK here's the deal. We have to pay all travel costs and expenses for our guest speakers this time (hence the reason they are ten pounds each) including Peter Robbins who lives upstate NY. We figured ticket sales for this event were not going to sell as quickly as the 30th anniversary conference, but I have to be honest, they are disappointing. Peter has very kindly kept the week around Sept 10 clear in the hope we sell enough tickets to be able to fly him over, but at the time of writing it is looking doubtful he will be there.

So guys............come on get those ticket orders in NOW as we will have to make a decision on cancelling the event entirely very soon.

Hi Gordy,
The event is supposed to be about the local people either on base and not heard before, or accounts from other military stations and local witnesses. The whole idea of this was surely to give these people an oportunity to give their accounts, but without refocusing on the 30th guest list or already well-publicised locals such as Brenda and Dot who have already relayed their accounts many times, unless of course, they have brand new witnesses and material not already discussed?

That hall costs peanuts to hire, why make the event make or break on the strength of a guest list that will break the bank? This is with all due and high respect to speakes from last year, but if we have too many of them, the local people that want to come forward again will not get any time to be heard properly. That's why I limited myself speaking (as BUFORA chairman) to only ten-fifiteen minutes and not submitting any expenses. I will buy a ticket in any case, as in principle it goes to a very good cause.

Please do not pull the plug on this one just based on US airfares and hotels, it was right for the 30th and the whole way that was organised and the film crews etc.etc., surely this event was supposed to be a completely different set up all together?

I must make this clear that I am in total appreciation of all the time and effort you put into the last conference and all the time already put towards this one and I am very aware of the hundered of hours that go into staging any UFO event or conference. One minute conference time often is made with 1000 minutes organisation time to make it happen!

Kind Regards

Matt, you are right, The event is definatly on. So far we have:

Matt Lyons
David Bryant
John Hanson
Brenda Butler
Larry Warren

Also Dot Street. I expect to add to this list soon. We may have Peter Robbins, but as said previously, depends on ticket sales.

We do have important new local witnesses, one in particular who was stopped by US cops carrying guns who saw the red light in the sky that was "dripping red molten" material onto the forest floor, he approached this red glow but the cops told him in no uncertain terms.....to leave the area, an interesting altercation ensued. All highly illegal of course.

Hi Gordy,
Thanks for clarification that 2011 is on. I didn't realise John was speaking too, we had a good conference and dinner with him at our recent cnference in Newcastle.

Looking forward to this and Peter R. will be a bonus.

Buy your tickets folks!

Thank you Gordy for answering my enquiry.

Its a good line up, I have never met any of the speakers, but my best friend is very good friends with BB, and I have spoken to John on the phone. So the line up is worth my time travelling up. I brought my tickets months ago through my friend, BB has them Im told.

Thankyou for clarifying the line up, it will be good to hear some new witnesses as well as researched authors, and of course a pleasure to hear LW.

Many thanks

Andrea
