What i would like to know about is that site next to route 12 (now eight) on the UFO trail? (area 5 or 6? - can't remember) What is that all about?

In recent weeks there has been changes to the UFO walk due to logging, but now it seems to have settled down. If you follow the present route, about half way along you will find yourself venturing onto what was route ten. Immediately in front of you (over to the left) just into the trees is a small clearing, Bruni's site. I recently found an old book 'Earthlights' by Paul Devereux. Interesting reading. Can't say i entirely buy the theory, but nonetheless interesting considering the area at the top of route 8 where i (and others) have witnessed strange phenomena with compasses, dogs etc, and Butley Priory not being that far away, might tie in with Mr Devereux's theory?

Hi Andy

Hi Observer, here is what it says on the dust cover: The unique aspect of this study- written by an experienced UFO researcher who is also a UFO witness - is the association of megalithic and other ancient holy sites with UFO phenomena. The startling conclusion is that ancient peoples may have had an understanding of the nature and origins of UFO's and the way they could intereact with human consciousness.

Paul Devereux argues that UFOs are geophysically produced pockets of energy that are responsive to mental cues: 'Planetary ectoplasm' produced in areas of geological faulting.'

Hi Andy

Heavy stuff but not too dissimilar from some US scientists who say that many UFO's and balls of light are down to earthquake or siesmic activity. They don't however include the psyche part.

From what you describe, Deveraux seems to say [if you run with his theory back in time you arrive at the old cleche], 'Was Jesus an Astronought'? I do not intend to insult any body so appologies now. Its not my area of belief but it does carry some intriguing possibilities.

It was very heavy in parts, observer, but intriguing. Thanks to my dogs, i spend quite a bit of time in Rendlesham, but there is one particualr part (and very near the alleged landing site) that intrigues me) at the end of route 8. There is nothing like experiencing strange phenomena for yourself, but trying to explain it is another matter. This is the only place i've experienced it, and it is the area where the alleged 1980's events took place?
