I'm surprised Clacton (granted it's Essex) wasn't mentioned, as that seems to be quite a hot-spot too? Last summer when i was staying with friends in Leigh-on-sea (also Essex), our friend Rob, a retired gentleman saw a bright orange cigar shaped object moving at quite a pace across the sky. His wife and us had retired for the evening, but i wish he had called me.

I think the whole of the East Coast from Scotland to Kent is a UFO hot spot. Scotland has above average sightings such as the Falkirk triangle.
The North Sea in its self is a UFO hot spot.
The Yorkshire dales are highly active but then many of the sightings were experimental air craft flights from Bae systems at Wharton.
We don't hear much about Wales or Northern Ireland but i do know they get sightings.

I guess that the whole of the UK is one giant hot spot, but then so is Mexico.
