General discussion about the Rendlesham forest incident

Postby redsocks » Wed Dec 12, 2007 7:07 pm

Hi ive been lurking here for a while now and never posted but this ARRS theory may have some substance.I have a friend who's retired USAF who was based at Bentwaters with the 81st security police.I mentioned the ARRS line of topic on this website to him and he knew that a capsule was used for search and rescue and some security guys(including him) were brief'd about this and put on duty when the ARRS search and rescues took place,he told me he was at Bentwaters from 78-81,but in this time never heard of the prank theory,he said the capsule was dropped in the woods and rescued. Now this is the interesting bit he was on duty on the night in question he swears that some security guys that werent involved with the ARRS programme saw the capsule reported it and when Halt and others turned up it was discovered that it was indeed the rescue capsule. It was he says a bit of a joke with the security guys on base at the time. Now interestingly my friend says that in time the UFO story was used for a cover for the armourary that was housed at Bentwaters, apparently locals had heard of a UFO story and the military went along with it.He swears this is a fact and theres no UFO.When I asked him about the airmans involvment to this day he says that whatever was there the military still dont want revealed. Can it be true that Halt and the other airmen are scapegoats right up until now knowing what the true facts are?well I guess when those guys sign up they do so for life retired or not if the military/gov still want to use you they will.Another interesting point here my friend was familiar with Halt on base and remember him as a happy go lucky uncle figure to the airmen,he told me he has since seen Halt on tv and in he's words "the guys got fear in he's eyes.Talking with him just convinces me that theres more to this than just a UFO story.

Hi, You missed an important point, the module is the actual one used at RAF Woodbridge, check out the text. The UFO hoax was used as a decoy.Halt will come up with the same briefed bullshit he has always done, he has to.

I would reply to the emails, however the email address I have been left with is clearly not the sender's.

Hi Admin,
If your anonymous 'contact' had taken the time to read through this thread he/she would have seen the very same picture of the Woodbridge Apollo capsule posted by Wolfman on page 5.
I certainly wait with baited breath in anticipation of what new gems Halt will announce to the world! I fear I may be disappointed! :-)
Regards.

Been thinking about this for a few weeks now.

Does anyone else get the impression that maybe the forum was getting someway to the truth with the ARRS discussion? and the commotion/interest that the site experienced over this particular 'can of worms' flags this up.

Something doesn't fit and I can't put my finger on it. I'm gonna have to re visit a this and reappraise some of the gauge I have.

Good work on the graphics Silvertop.

I'm pretty sure that the 67th ARRS are responsible or had a hand in this incident.
