Wolf, thanks for the post.

What doesn't help the RFI or any other UFO incident are comments from the media such as this one from the article that the post links to:

As long as the media keeps referring to

alien craft and little green men

any attempts at serious research into UFOs will be hampered by genuine investigators, professional persons, academics and the like, not wanting to ruin their professional reputations and careers by exposing themselves to ridicule. I suspect the risk of ridicule and/or professional suicide might also be the real reason many RFI witnesses do not come forward.

Ive met Brenda Butler and shes a lovely friendly Lady(and her dog Mason) she showed me and my sons around Rendlesham one rve in summer abt 6years ago! also some amazing photos!! Has anyone here met her? comments..?

Brenda said hi to me at the Probe conference in Blackpool in October ... seemed a pleasant lady, that's all I can really say as I don't know her much better than that, best wishes, Win

Yep met her a few times, went on a couple of her tours around the forest at night ect, she seems a very nice person.
All i can say is nowt happens when she's not there, or at least not the 20 odd other times i've visited.
On both occasions when Mason has been disturbed by a certain part of the forest it has co-insided with the ONLY time all night she has had him on a lead or held by his colar, on both occasions he soon perked up when let go of to run and chew logs (that's the perk of being the only person with night vision in a group of 20 pluss).
I've been present when a contactee have been in "contact" although all i could pick up on my video camera was his snoring, i've worked with narcoleptics before
