Admin, in another thread on the recently released MOD files, showed an interesting additional sketch allegedly made by Jim Penniston and copied from his notebook:

We all know the other one:

So there it is: Two types of craft with two types of landing marks! One circular, the other V-shaped/triangular!

By the way, is anybody able to decipher the text written in this sketch?
The diameter of one of the circular impressions is indicated in the sketch. It seems to read 7" wide, which exactly corresponds to the diameter given in Halt's memo.

The original can be found in file DEFE 24/1995 (p71-86) on http://ufos.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Remember Ed Cabansag's description of the craft he saw?

Bruni p193: "It was cone-shaped - egg-shaped, with lights running around its belt from left to right. They were blue, white and red lights, flashing, sometimes rapid, sometimes slow."

Imagine the craft from the first sketch, with its left and right part obscured by trees. This would indeed look egg/cone shaped, and if the line drawn around its belt indicates lights, the similarity with Cabansag's description becomes remarkable.
